With a raw, visceral energy that is both alluring and a little threatening, Girl on Top is known for evocative lyrics and all-out performance.  Stylistically, they span the spectrum with sounds ranging from pop to punk and all with a bit of danger.  Since forming in 1988, Girl on Top has headlined venues up and down the east coast with no signs of slowing down.  As the opening act for such diverse acts as Tracy Bonham, Goo Goo Dolls, and Iggy Pop, Girl on Top brings energy and excitement.  Their songs have been placed in multiple indie films, and they're always looking for the next great opportunity.
